I'm so blessed to have amazing support from many people. My favorite spinning studio, Psycle, in Westlake helped with my fundraising efforts with a spin session and immediately following I went for a run to complete my first brick workout of the season with my hero, Liz Ferro. Liz has truly helped me in so many ways and I'm so blessed to have her in my life as my friend! She made a great point that I'm sure will help me in my efforts on Sunday, 26.2 miles is nothing compared to some of the other things we've been faced with in life. Yep! That is very true and I can't wait to experience another empowering accomplishment.
This week I will be focusing on my mental strength and focus, after all most of it is mental! Around this time last year I started thinking about my next big thing. Last year it was the half ironman distance triathlon which I ended up training for and completing last summer. This year, I'm getting an itch for even more but am trying not to bite off more than I can chew. However, completing a full ironman would be pretty cool. I'll let that adventure linger in my mind for a bit longer.
I'm really looking forward to an amazing summer, filled with swimming, biking, running, yoga, and reading!
